Acquisition of first property in the lakeside town of Capolago

In April we took possession of our first property in Capolago! For those drawing a blank on Capolago, it is a small town on the Southeast tip of Lake Lugano and is a part of Mendrisio.

The property is a traditional building with a front line view of the lake. The building is home to the beauty salon Istituto Estetico Niagara on the ground floor and three apartments on the upper floors.

The view from the building itself is beautiful, but what really makes this property magical is the garden in the back. With four rows of grape vines and multiple terraces, it’s a small garden of Eden with views of Lake Lugano.

At the moment, it is a very overgrown garden of Eden, but that’s where the gardening fun comes in!
